About UNLF
Founded in 1964, the United National Liberation Front (UNLF) has remained dedicated to the vision
of a sovereign, united, and democratic Manipur. Guided by the principle of
“autonomy at all levels,” UNLF has brought together people from diverse communities to protect identity,
dignity, and freedom.
Over the decades, UNLF has worked to uphold justice, equality, and social progress, while striving to preserve
Manipur’s unique cultural and historical heritage. What began as a small group of visionary patriots has grown into
a movement that continues to carry forward the aspirations of the people for peace and self-determination.
